John Volkman

John E. Volkman (1905–80) was an American industrial scientist, spent his career at RCA, designing studios and auditoria, and sound reinforcement components.

John Volkman was the first to use variable equalization, In the 1930s he used them to equalize a motion picture theater playback systems.[1]
